Traffic Stop Yields Suspected Methamphetamine In Warrington

WARRINGTON, PA — A Warrington man is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop at Easton Road and Titus Avenue yielded a stash of suspected methamphetamine

The traffic stop happened on Sunday at 12:38 p.m. when police stopped Gary Frances Adams of Warrington for a traffic offense.

As the officer activated his emergency equipment, he observed the driver moving something around inside the vehicle.

While speaking with the 37-year-old, the officer detected the odor of marijuana and observed signs consistent with narcotic use. Police said Adams was also evasive while speaking with the officer.

Officers located a rolled dollar bill and a rolled Ziplock bag containing a white crystal substance consistent with methamphetamine inside the vehicle. Officers also located a suspected burnt marijuana cigar.

Adams was arrested and transported to the police station, where he was processed and released. He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a summary traffic offense.
