Unruly Man Threatens Former Doylestown Employer: Central Bucks Regional Crime Report

Police also cited a woman for throwing items around a store and refusing to leave and arrested a man accused of corruption of minors.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests during December, including an unruly man who threatened his former employer, a woman who threw items around a store and refused to leave, and a man accused of corruption of minors.

December 1

  • HARASSMENT, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - An 80-year-old woman from Doylestown was charged with harassment following police response to a disturbance at an apartment complex. Police said the woman harassed a neighbor by banging on a window and screaming.
  • ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD AND THEFT, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - A 24-year-old man from Chalfont was charged with theft and access device fraud for the use of a fraudulent credit card.

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - A 24-year-old man from Philadelphia was cited for urinating in public.
  • ORDINANCE VIOLATION, W. State and N. Main Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 44-year-old man from Philadelphia was cited for use of marijuana.

December 8

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, S. Main Street (CVS), Doylestown Borough - A 69-year-old woman with no fixed address was charged with disorderly conduct for throwing items around the store and refusing to leave.
  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, 45 E. State Street (Evolution Candy), Doylestown Borough - A 60-year-old man from Lansdale was cited for vandalizing a flag displayed at the store.
  • SIMPLE ASSAULT & CORRUPTION OF MINORS, Hartzels Lane, Chalfont Borough - A 48-year-old man from Chalfont was charged with simple assault and corruption of minors following domestic incidents and inappropriate behavior with a minor child.

  • DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, E. Ashland Street, Doylestown Borough – A 60-year-old man with no fixed address was charged with DUI after police found the driver slumping over the steering wheel, and the vehicle stopped. Field sobriety tests were conducted and a blood draw was attempted at Doylestown Hospital.

December 16

  • PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, N. Clinton Street, Doylestown Borough – A 55-year-old woman from Doylestown was cited for public drunkenness after police responded to a report of an intoxicated person stumbling on the road.
  • TERRORISTIC THREATS, HARASSMENT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 200 W. State Street (Simply Fresh), Doylestown Borough - A 28-year-old man from Philadelphia who was recently fired by Simply Fresh was charged following police response for an unruly person. Police said the man was yelling at customers and threatened to return to the store to shoot the manager.

December 18

  • FORGERY, THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING & OTHER CHARGES, 100 N. Main Street (Justice Center), Doylestown Borough – A 50-year-old woman from Philadelphia, who driving on a suspended license, was charged with forgery, theft by unlawful taking and other charges following a one-vehicle traffic accident. Police said registration plates and inspections were counterfeit. Field sobriety tests were conducted and a legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.

December 19

  • DRUG VIOLATIONS, 625 N. Main Street (Main Street Inn), Doylestown Borough - A 35-year-old woman from Philadelphia was charged with drug violations following police response to a fire inside a motel room. The woman renting the room was found to be in possession of illegal substances and drug paraphernalia.

December 20

  • DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, N. Main and East Streets, Doylestown Borough - A 19-year-old man from Doylestown was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for operating without lights when required. Field sobriety tests were conducted and a legal blood draw obtained at Doylestown Hospital.

December 21

  • DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, W. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough - A 41-year-old woman from Chalfont was charged with DUI following a one-vehicle accident. The woman presented with signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage prior to driving. Police said the woman refused field sobriety, breathalyzer and legal blood draw.
  • HARASSMENT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 375 W. Court Street (CB West), Doylestown Borough - A 15-year-old boy from Doylestown was charged following an altercation with other students.
  • THEFT, 456 N. Main Street (Target), Doylestown Borough - A 41-year-old man from Jamison was charged following police response to a theft in progress at the store. The man was charged for theft on December 21 and on June 20.

December 31

  • DRIVER VIOLATION & UNDERAGE DRINKING, E. Butler Avenue and Iron Hill Road, New Britain Borough – A 16-year-old man from Hartsville was cited following a traffic stop for two passengers piled in the front passenger seat of a moving vehicle. The driver presented with an odor of alcoholic beverage and bloodshot eyes.
