Vote To Legalize Medical Marijuana In Pa. Scheduled For Monday
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf supports the medical marijuana legislation and says he will sign the bill if it makes it to his desk.

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives is scheduled to vote Monday on a bill to legalize medical marijuana.
House voting begins at 1 p.m. Monday inside the state Capitol, according to ABC27. The bill passed the Senate in May.

Gov. Tom Wolf supports the legislation and says he will sign the bill if it makes it to his desk.
"I support the legalization of medical marijuana and I believe it is long past time to provide this important medical relief to patients and families across the commonwealth," Wolf said in a statement on his website.

Wolf said he has "urged action" on legislation legalizing medical marijuana.
"It is time to legalize medical marijuana because we should not deny doctor-recommended treatment that could help people suffering from seizures or cancer patients affected by chemotherapy. I urge quick action by the legislature to legalize medical marijuana," he said.
