Warrington Day Returns With Vendors, Rides And Live Entertainment

WARRINGTON, PA — Warrington Day is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, at John Paul Park at Lower Nike, 301 Folly Road. The free community event is set to run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to draw 2,000 to 3,000 guests, weather permitting.

Organizers say the event is one of the community’s biggest gatherings. Plans call for 50 to 70 vendors, ranging from small local shops to larger businesses, along with food trucks, games, rides, bounce houses, and a petting zoo.

A new feature this year is the Rec & Rides Corner, where attendees can buy a $5 unlimited rides wristband. The event also includes a full afternoon of performances and demonstrations.

“We’ve got a full afternoon of entertainment lined up," said township officials. "From martial arts and dance performances to open karaoke, a magic show and live music, there will be plenty happening throughout the day.”

The performance schedule begins with Sky Martial Arts from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by open karaoke from noon to 1 p.m. Ascend Dance is scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m.

Rick Deezie’s magic show will appear from 2:30 to 3 p.m., and Absolute Music is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. The event listing also says music schools and K-9 demonstrations will be part of the day’s entertainment.

Warrington Day is billed as a family-friendly event. In addition to performances, visitors can expect activities spread throughout the park, with vendors and attractions aimed at drawing residents for an afternoon gathering.
