National Night Out Rescheduled For Tonight In Buckingham

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — After Wednesday's cancellation due to the weather, the Buckingham Township Police Department will try again tonight.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms moving through the county forced organizers to cancel Wednesday night's event for "the safety of our guests, staff, and participants."

National Night Out will now take place tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. at Peddler's Village.

The evening will feature non-stop activities with face painting, a bounce house and foam party, giveaways galore, cool vehicles on display, meet-and-greets with first responders, K-9 demonstrations, and a Dunk Tank featuring a Central Bucks School Resource Officer in the "wet" seat.

Taking part in the event are Block Communications, Cub Scout Pack 169 - Doylestown, Buckingham Township PBA,
Buckingham Township, Good Stuff Thrift, Hollow House Farms, Mercedes-Benz of Doylestown, MISSION BBQ Warminster, None Such Farm, Orangetheory Fitness Doylestown, Philly Pretzel Factory - Lahaska, Pizza Village & Restaurant, Tails of the Village by the Total Animal, The Lucky Cupcake Company, Village People Antiques, and Univest Financial (Lahaska).

"Let's celebrate community, connection, and fun - right here in our own neighborhood," said organizers.

The event is free and open to the public.
