Weekday Closures To Impact New Galena Road In New Britain Township

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Chalfont-New Britain Township Joint Sewage Authority will be performing a sewer facility installation on New Galena Road in New Britain Township beginning on Monday, March 20.

Weekday closures are scheduled from Monday, March 20 to Friday, April 21 from 7 a.m. to 3 pm. on New Galena Road between Barry and Walter roads. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Barry Road, Railroad Avenue, Sunset Avenue, Route 152 (Main Street), and
New Galena Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

Chalfont-New Britain Township Joint Sewage Authority will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
