For more than 30 years, Gaskey has lived and worked in Doylestown Borough, finding studio space in historic barns and open areas nearby. Gasky’s early works are connected to the Doylestown Historical Society barn and park.
The barn has been restored and is currently undergoing another expansion. The park space, also part of that plan, will expand and beautify the park for DHS and for the neighboring community.
A meet the artist event takes place on Nov. 24 from 12 to 2 p.m. The public is invited to stop by to speak to Mr. Gaskey, have a glass of cider, and visit the society shop for holiday gift specials.
