Young 'Soulmates' In Bucks County Crash: 21-Year-Old Dies, Other Critically Injured
Doylestown native Christopher M. Marinelli, 21, was killed in the crash. His girlfriend, described as his soulmate, was critically injured

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A Doylestown native and Central Bucks East High School graduate was killed late last month while he was out for a drive with his girlfriend, described by loved ones as his "soulmate."
Christopher M. Marinelli was pronounced dead at the scene of the Aug. 30 crash, which happened on Rt. 611 at Old Easton Road in Bedminster Township, according to The Intelligencer.
According to his obituary, Marinelli attended Groveland Elementary School and Tohickon Middle School in Plumstead Township. He went on to graduate from Central Bucks East, his obituary says.

Marinelli's girlfriend, Gabrialle Otero, was riding in the car with him, according to a GoFundMe page created to support her in her recovery.
She was trapped in the wreckage, then freed after a "lengthy extrication procedure," The Intelligencer reports. She flown by medical helicopter to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

Police say Jaclyn Jones, 30, crossed into the opposite lane and crashed into Marinelli's car, The Intelligencer report said.
According to the GoFundMe page, Chris and Gaby "were truly in love and soul mates at the young age of 21. "
Services for Marinelli are scheduled for Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Christopher M. Marinelli died on August 30, 2017. Born in Abington, Christopher was the son of Joseph and Donna M. Marinelli. Christopher grew up in Doylestown, PA , and he attended Groveland Elementary School and Tohickon Middle School in Plumstead Township.
He graduated from Central Bucks East High School in 2015. While in high school, he attended the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology’s Computer Networking Program.Christopher was an intelligent and serious-minded young man pursuing a career with Comcast Business in Horsham, PA. His primary responsibilities as an Account Executive included troubleshooting and problem solving technical and billing issues with new and existing customers.
Christopher interned and assisted with different specialty teams and projects during his time there, and was recently selected to join the Welcome Call specialty team. He was regarded by his co-workers and peers, in their words, as “smart, serious, and good natured,” and was a well-liked and well respected member of the CARE team at Comcast.While Christopher’s main passion was computers and information technology, he was also interested in and informed about history and politics.
He enjoyed reading, and pursued his interest in politics through online subscriptions to magazines such as the Washington Post. He enjoyed driving in the countryside of Bucks County with his girlfriend and traveling to the beach and other places of interest like Washington DC. He also enjoyed the “country life” and farm animals. Christopher was a purposeful young man on a self-directed path.
He was dearly loved and admired by his family. In addition to his parents Christopher is survived by his sister Justine Marinelli. He had a sweet-natured and caring girlfriend, Gabrialle Otera, whom he loved and who loved him. He was also warmly embraced by her family, the Otero’s of Ottsville, PA. Christopher’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 E. State St. Doylestown. PA.
Internment will follow in St. John Neumann. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00am until the time of Mass.
