Bicyclists Ride to Support Young Boy Who Was Hit By Car
Bike Pittsburgh has organized the event in honor of an 8-year-old bicyclist who was hit by a car on Monday.

The biking community is coming together to support the family of a young bicyclist who was hit by a car in Point Breeze on Monday.
Bike Pittsburgh planned a 5 p.m. ride around the neighborhood on Tuesday for the family.
"We're meeting to show our support for the family and bike riding in Pittsburgh, and will be riding our bikes around the neighborhood with our kids," stated the event's Facebook page.

According to the Tribune Review, an 8-year-old boy was riding bike with his father and a sibling along South Lexington Avenue and Reynolds Street near Frick Park. The boy, who was not identified, was wearing a helmet and was taken to Children's Hospital in critical condition. He reportedly attends Shady Side Academy Junior School.
