
Forest Hills District Justice Thomas Caulfield heard the following cases in his court room on July 17:
- Michael Worthy, 33, of North Braddock, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of theft from a motor vehicle and possession of an instrument of crime with intent. Charges of corruption of minors and theft from a motor vehicle were withdrawn. Swissvale police filed the charges after a June 20 incident on Monroe Street. Worthy is accused of going through vehicles parked on the street.
- Jamie Michelle Betten, 30, of Swissvale, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of conspiracy and intent to possess a controlled substance. Swissvale police filed the charges after a June 12 incident on Monongahela Avenue.
- Richard J. Meising, 47, of Penn Hills, waived a preliminary hearing on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and a traffic violation. Five traffic violations were withdrawn. State police filed the charges after a March 31 incident on the Parkway East.
- Sandra Clemmons, 50, of East Pittsburgh, waived a preliminary hearing on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and a traffic violation. Two traffic violations were withdrawn. Swissvale police filed the charges after a May 28 incident on South Braddock Avenue.
- Sade Johnson, 26, of East Pittsburgh, waived a preliminary hearing on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. A traffic violation was withdrawn. Swissvale police filed the charges after a May 19 incident on South Braddock Avenue.
- Carlos Lymoin Burley, 23, of Monroeville, waived a preliminary hearing on driving with a suspended license, two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and two traffic violations. A charge of operating a vehicle without valid inspection and two traffic violations were withdrawn. State police filed the charges after a March 30 incident on the Parkway East near the Edgewood exit.
