Police say a 79-year-old Greencastle man allegedly fired a gun after first responders forced entry to help his wife, leading to multiple assault-related charges and an upcoming court hearing. 
• Blue Devils hold on for 2-1 win in PIAA baseball 1st round (thesportspage.blog) — Greencastle-Antrim’s Blue Devils edged Perkiomen Valley 2-1 to advance in the PIAA Class 5A baseball playoffs, powered by strong pitching from Ryder Linn and Cam Rakaczewski. Catcher Bryce Davidson helped shut down the opponent’s running game, and the team now prepares to face Pittston in Thursday’s quarterfinal, with game time and location still to be announced.
