HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police released their weekly crime report recently.

The report covers incidents in the township that occurred between March 14 and March 19, as well as arrests made and traffic citations issued in that time frame.

Notable crimes included $2,500 being stolen in a burglary, $3,200 in fraudulent credit card purchases, unlocked vehicles broke into, and more.

  • Burglary at Waterford Apartments, 1900 block of Lawrence Road, on March 14 at 5:55 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person gained entry into her apartment and stole jewelry, bank account information and $2,500 in cash from a safe.
  • Fraud on the unit block of Morgan Avenue on March 16 at 3:05 p.m. – Numerous unauthorized transactions were made with the victim’s debit card.
  • Public Drunkenness at the American Legion, 1100 block of Steel Road, on March 16 at 10:08 p.m. – A white male, 24, of the 2700 block of Fynamore Lane, Downingtown, was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Theft on the 900 block of Deer Road on March 17 at 11:12 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered and loose change was stolen.
  • Theft on the 200 block of Landover Road on March 17 at 7:25 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered and loose change was stolen.
  • Bicycle Theft on the 100 block of Shelbourne Avenue on March 18 at 2015.
  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on March 18 at 6:54 p.m. – A white male, 46, of the 4300 block of North 8th Street, Philadelphia, was cited for the retail theft of $147 worth of merchandise and A white female, 55, also of the 4300 block of North 8th Street, Philadelphia, was cited for the retail theft of $104.50 worth of merchandise
  • Vandalism on the 200 block of Campbell Avenue on March 18 at 12:23 p.m. – Residence was egged.
  • Vandalism at Eagle and Lawrence Roads on March 18 at 7:21 p.m. –Victim reported that a juvenile jumped on the hood of her vehicle causing two dents while she was stopped at a red light.
  • Fraud at Wilkie Lexus, 500 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on March 19 at 10:59 a.m. – A black male paid for $3,200 worth of parts and service with three fraudulent credit cards.
  • Identity Theft on the 1200 block of Larchmont Avenue on March 19 at 9:26 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person made multiple unauthorized purchases with his debit card.

ARRESTS:

  • A white male, 70, 500 block of Brookview Lane, Havertown. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: 500 block of Brookview Lane. Date: March 16 at 6:51 p.m.
  • A white male, 43, 200 block of Travistock Drive, Cherry Hill, NJ. Charges: DUI. Location: Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike Date: March 17 at 11:27 p.m.
  • A white male, 60, 400 block of Glendale Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: unit block of W. Manoa Road. Date: March 17 at 4:40 p.m.
  • A black male, 24, 200 block of Ashby Road, Upper Darby. Charges: DUI, possession of a controlled substance and marijuana, suspended driver’s license and no insurance. Location: Park and Township Line Roads. Date: March 17 at 11 p.m.
  • A white male, 27, unit block of S. Sycamore Avenue, Clifton Heights. Charges: Warrant. Location: 600 block of Hathaway Lane. Date: March 18 at 2:42 a.m.
  • A white male, 21, 700 block of Buck Lane, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault and harassment. Location: 700 block of Buck Lane. Date: March 19 at 5:11 p.m.
