7 Cars Broken Into At Haverford Reserve: Haverford Police Blotter

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Police issued their most recent crime blotter on Wednesday, July 4.

The blotter highlights police activity between June 19 and July 2.

Notable incidents include seven vehicle break-ins at the Haverford Reserve on June 30, vandalism at Paddock Park, and several public drunkenness charges.

The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued in that time frame.

INCIDENTS:

• Theft on the 1300 block of Maryland Avenue on June 27 at 3:02 p.m. – Registration plate was stolen from a vehicle. Vandalism at John Luke Plumbing, 100 block of W. Eagle Road, on June 27 at 8:02 a.m. – Victim reported approximately $100 worth of damage to the vestibule to the rear of the building.
• Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on June 28 at 11:20 a.m. – Vehicle was entered; prescription medication and a wallet containing $280 and credit cards were stolen.
• Theft at Uhaul, unit block of E. Township Line Road, on June 28 at 8:07 a.m. – Two rental trucks had the catalytic converter cut off and stolen.
• Criminal Mischief at Paddock Park, 200 block of W. Hillcrest Avenue, on June 28 at 8:52 a.m. – Township Recreation Director reported trash cans were emptied out onto the grass, wet toilet paper was thrown throughout the bathroom, basketball hoop was damaged and graffiti was discovered on the bench.
• Theft at Tenby and Bewley Roads on June 29 at 2:34 a.m. – Three juveniles were arrested for entering vehicles.
• Identity Theft on the unit block of Treaty Road on June 29 at 4 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person used his identity to open a Sprint account.
• Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on June 30 at 2:03 p.m. – Vehicle window was smashed; a MCM bag containing $40 and a check was stolen.
• Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on June 30 at 2:03 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered; backpack containing an iPad mini, 8 Phillies tickets and gym clothes and sneakers was stolen.
• Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on June 30 at 2:03 p.m. – A Gucci bag, three Kate Spade bags and a Tory Burch wallet containing $200, credit cards and gift cards was stolen.
• Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on June 30 at 2:03 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered; a purse containing $1000, credit cards and driver’s license was stolen.
• Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on June 30 at 2:03 p.m. – Entry was gained into a vehicle through an open rear window. A purse containing credit cards, driver’s license, social security card, cell phone and $40 was stolen.
• Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on June 30 at 2:03 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered – A purse was stolen.
• Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on June 30 at 2:03 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered; purse was stolen.
• Public Drunkenness on the 300 block of West Chester Pike on June 30 at 3:18 a.m. -- Black female, 21, 6000 block of North 10th Street, Philadelphia, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
• Public Drunkenness on the 1200 block of Steel Road on June 30 at 6:18 a.m. – White male, 27, 600 block of Country Club Lane, was cited for public drunkenness.
• Public Drunkenness at Care Stat, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on June 30 at 10:30 p.m. – White male, 33, 700 block of Eaton Road, Drexel Hill was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
• Theft on the 1000 block of Weller Avenue on July 2 at 11:05 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; loose change, gloves and stud finder was stolen.
• Theft on the unit block of Llandaff Road on July 2 at 3:33 p.m. – Vehicle was entered; insurance and registration card was stolen.
• Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on July 2 at 7:22 p.m. – Wallet containing credit cards and $7 was reported missing from the bleachers in the gym.
• Criminal Mischief on the 1700 block of Ridgeway Road on July 2 at 7:38 a.m. – Vehicle was keyed.

ARRESTS

• White female, 20, 200 block of Richfield Road, Upper Darby. Charges: Terroristic threats and harassment. Location: 2400 block of Darby Road. Date: June 19 at 7:40 a.m. (incident occurred on March 19)
• Black male, 24, 2300 block of Turner Street, Philadelphia. Charges: possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver. Location: 1800 block of E. Darby Road. Date: June 21 at 10:45 a.m. (incident occurred on June 12)
• White male, 47, 1900 block of Darby Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: 100 block of Eagle Road. Date: June 25 at 10:16 p.m.
• Black male, 30, 1300 block of N. Alden Street, Philadelphia. Charges: possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 400 block of West Chester Pike Date: June 26 at 10:43 a.m.
• White male, 26, 100 block of Trainer Street, Chester. Charges: DUI, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Brierwood Road and Sunny Hill Lane. Date: June 27 at 6:48 p.m.
• Black male, 18, 4200 block of Wallace Street, Philadelphia. Charges: possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Bewley and Park Roads. Date: June 28 at 2:22 a.m.
• White female, 44, 100 block of Old Pennell Road, Media. Charges: forgery, identity theft, procure for self/other drug by fraud. Location: 900 block of Haverford Road Date: June 28 at 11:05 a.m. (incident occurred on May 31)
• Black male, 24, 2100 block of W. Elkington Avenue, Chester. Charges: warrant. Location: W. Township Line Road and Morgan Avenue. Date: June 28 at 12:08 p.m.
• Black male, 28, 700 block of Pembroke Avenue, Lansdowne. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: June 30 at 2:51 a.m.
• White male, 17 was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: simple assault, harassment and disorderly contact. Location: Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road. Date: May 10 at 7:30 p.m.
• White female, 15 was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: retail theft. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: July 2 at 5 p.m.
