Armed Robbery At Havertown Burger King: Police

The suspect is described as a black male with a brown complexion, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall with a slim build.

HAVERTOWN, PA – A Havertown Burger King was robbed a gunpoint Monday and police are asking for the public's assistance identifying and locating the suspect.

According to police, the robbery occurred at 12:12 a.m. Monday, July 3 at the Burger King at 233 W. Chester Pike.

Police said the suspect threw a rock through a drive-through window, climbed through, cut himself in the process, then pulled a handgun on employees.

The suspect forced the employees to the back of the business, then took a cash register drawer and fled through a back door, police said.

Witnesses told police the suspect was a black male with a brown complexion, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a white bandana over his face and a burgundy and gray shirt and gloves.
