HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police issued their most recent crime report, highlighting police activity between Jan. 17 and Jan. 23.
Some incidents in the report include a credit card skimmer found at a Citizens Bank ATM, several identity theft and fraud cases, criminal mischief, retail thefts, an attempted burglary, and more.
The report also includes citations issued and arrests made during that time frame.

ARRESTS:
- A white male, 72, of the unit block of Chatham Road, Upper Darby. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: Haverford Road and Buck Lane. Date: Jan. 21, at 12:16 a.m.
- A black male, 29, of the 5000 block of Gainor Road, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 22, at 12:54 p.m.
- A black male, 33, 1500 block of South 31st Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 22, at 7:17 p.m.
- A white male, 29, of the 500 block of Woodcliffe Road, Upper Darby. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Jan. 23, at 10 a.m.
- A black female, 17, was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Giant,100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: Jan. 17, at 4:42 p.m.
INCIDENTS:
- Retail Theft at CVS on the unit block of West Eagle Road on Jan. 17, at 6:47 p.m.– A white female, 56, of the unit block of West Eagle Road was cited for the retail theft of $48 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Jan. 18, at 8:01 p.m. – Loss prevention associate observed on video surveillance a white male steal approximately $600 worth of over the counter pain medication on two separate occasions.
- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Jan. 19, at 5:59 p.m. – Headphones were stolen from an unsecured locker.
- Fraud on the 700 block of Humphreys Road on Jan. 19, at 6:08 p.m. – Victim reported an unauthorized transaction on his checking account.
- Fraud at Citizens Bank, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Jan. 19, at 11:23 a.m. – An employee reported he discovered a card skimmer inserted into the ATM machine.
- Identity Theft on the 500 block of Virginia Avenue on Jan. 19, at 1:04 p.m. – Victim reported that someone submitted a loan application using his identity. A Verizon and T-mobile account were also opened using his identity.
- Attempted Burglary on the 600 block of Old Lancaster Avenue on Jan. 20, at 7:11 p.m. – Pry marks were observed on the screen door. It does not appear that entry was made into the residence. The dead bolt was secure on the door.
- Fraud on the 400 block of Pembroke Road on Jan. 20, at 2:48 p.m. – Victim reported she responded to a Craigslist post to purchase Eagles tickets. Payment was made via Zell. The victim did not receive the tickets and the subject is no longer responding to emails or texts.
- Identity Theft on the 1000 block of Delaware Avenue on Jan. 20, at 1:41 p.m. – Victim reported AT&T, Verizon, and Kohl’s accounts were opened using his identity.
- Identity Theft on the 300 block of Crescent Hill Drive on Jan. 20, at 2:19 p.m. – An unknown person opened an AT&T account and purchase an iPhone using the victim’s identity.
- Criminal Mischief at Chatham Park School, 400 block of Allston Road, on Jan. 21, at 8:24 p.m. – Soccer goal post was damaged and the net is missing.
- Liquor Law Violation at Bryn Mawr Terrace, 700 block of Haverford Road, on Jan. 21, at 8:52 p.m. – A white male, 19, of the 200 block of McMillan Road, Grosse Pointe, Michigan, was cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking.
- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Jan. 22, at 12:50 p.m. – A black female, 38, of the 5000 block of Gainor Road, Philadelphia was cited for retail theft and a black male, 29, was arrested for retail theft.
- Fraud at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Jan. 22, at 3:29 p.m. – Loss Prevention Supervisor reported that a white male took four smoke detectors from the shelf and walked to Customer Service to make a return. The subject received a $250 store credit.
- Identity Theft on the unit block of Vernon Road on Jan. 23, at 7:26 p.m. – Victim reported that a person known to him opened a credit card account using his identity.
