Workshops on estate planning will be offered at the Haverford Township Free library on September 20. The program entitled, Examining Estate Planning: Is Your Retirement & Estate Plan Complete, Safe & Secure? will be presented by the Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA). The workshop will be offered twice at 2pm and at 6 pm.
Topics covered in the workshop include: Do I need a Will or Trust and an attorney?; What is an Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust (ILIT)?; What is probate and how can I avoid it?; and Do you know how much of your money will go to your children and grandchildren and how much will go to the IRS & the state when you or your spouse is gone?
