The Friends of the Grange is hosting a Magic Show and Ice Cream Social, 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3, in the air-conditioned church hall at St. James United Church of Christ, 135 Myrtle Ave., Havertown, with family entertainment by "Magic Ari."
Admission is $4 per person for advance reservations by Friday, July 31; $5 per person at the door.
