Betsy Meyer Memorial Exhibition: PAINT! Emerging Philadelphia Artists Selected by Bill Scott
Painting has always held an important place at Main Line Art Center and this exhibition brings back highly regarded painter, Bill Scott, who as a young boy studied at the Art Center and Haverford Friends School. In PAINT! Scott selects paintings and works on paper by younger artists whose work he admires. The exhibition features artists age 24 to 39 from throughout the US and now living in Philadelphia. The artists' differing approaches and dedication to their medium highlight how contemporary painting thrives in the region.
