The Haverford Township Free Library invites the community to come and reflect on the 10 year anniversary of the events of 9/11/01 this September. The interactive display, Ten Years Later - Reflections on 9/11 is housed in the lobby of the library and invites people to share their reflections, memories and perspective on the tragic events that occurred in New York, Washington DC, and Southwestern Pennsylvania 10 years ago this month.
“As a gathering place for the community, we thought it was important to provide a space for people to remember and contemplate such an important event in our country’s recent history,” said Library Director, Christine Faris.
Ten Years Later – Reflections of 9/11 will be available for viewing and participation during regular library hours for the whole month of September.
