Four Thefts From Vehicles In 1 Day: Haverford Police Report

Police said several unlocked vehicles on Juniper Road were broken into on June 20. See details of the thefts and the full blotter here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Police issued their weekly crime report on Wednesday and it covers policy activity in the township from June 20 to June 25.

Most notably, police report five theft from vehicle incidents on Juniper Road on June 20, as well as a vehicle theft on June 25.

The report also covers arrests made and citations issued in that time frame.

  • Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on June 20 at 4:06 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, two iPhones were stolen.
  • Theft on the unit block of Joann Circle on June 20 at 2:11 p.m. – A Rolex watch was reported missing from the residence.
  • Theft on the 200 block of Juniper Road on June 20 at 7:40 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.
  • Theft on the 200 block of Juniper Road on June 20 at 8 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.
  • Theft on the 100 block of Juniper Road on June 20 at 11:01 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change and insurance card was stolen.
  • Attempted Theft on the 200 block of Juniper Road on June 20 at 8:22 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
  • Theft on the 100 block of Juniper Road on June 20 at 10:58 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
  • Fraud on the 800 block of West Chester Pike on June 21 at 3:32 p.m. – Victim reported that a suspicious check was processed on their account.
  • Identity Theft on the unit block of W. Eagle Road on June 21 at 3:28 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a credit card account using her identity and made over $1,000 in purchases.
  • Liquor Law Violation at Veterans Field, unit block of Manoa Road, on June 21 at 10:29 p.m. – A white female, 17, was cited for underage drinking, disorderly conduct and township ordinance/park hours and a white male, 16, was cited for disorderly conduct and township ordinance/park hours.
  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on June 22 at 1:58 p.m. – A white male stole a Miter saw and fled the store.
  • Fraud on the 400 block of Campbell Avenue on June 22 at 4:01 p.m. – Victim reported that multiple unauthorized charges were made with his credit card.
  • Fraud on the 100 block of East Turnbull Avenue on June 23 at 7:20 p.m. – Three unauthorized purchases were made with the victim’s credit card.
  • Theft at the Haverford Dog Park, 7000 block of Parkview Drive, on June 24 at 4:50 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered, a wallet was stolen.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft at the 100 block of E. Hathaway Lane on June 25 at 2:03 p.m.

ARRESTS:

  • White male, 37, 300 block of Blanchard Road, Drexel Hill. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: West Chester Pike and Eagle Road. Date: June 20 at 8:33 p.m.
  • White male, 42, 600 block of Old Lancaster Road, Bryn Mawr. Charges: Simple assault and harassment. Location: 600 block of Old Lancaster Road. Date: June 20 at 9:07 p.m.
  • White male, 30, unit block of Kenmore Road, Upper Darby. Charges: DUI. Location: Darby Road and Chelten Road. Date: June 21 at 8:38 p.m.
  • White male, 27, 1500 block of Manley Road, West Chester. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance. Location: West Chester Pike and Washington Avenue. Date: June 24 at 10:19 p.m.
  • White male, 14 was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Possession of marijuana. Location: unit block of W. Wilmont Avenue. Date: June 22 at 8:56 p.m.
