Fraud, Burglary, Thefts Mark Newest Haverford Police Report
There were numerous theft cases and a few fraud cases reported in just a few days' time in the township. See the full report details here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Six thefts, two frauds cases, and a burglary highlight the latest Haverford Township Police Department crime report.
Police issued the report Wednesday, May 9 and it covers incidents in the township that occurred between May 2 and May 7.
The report also includes the arrests made and citations issued in that time frame.

INCIDENTS:

- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on May 2 at 11:14 a.m. – Loss prevention officer reported that a black male selected two items from the shelf and went to the return desk and returned one of the items and received a store credit. He then purchased the other item with the gift card.
- Fraud at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on May 3 at 10:29 a.m. – Victim reported credit cards stolen from an unsecured locker. Multiple unauthorized charges were made with the cards.
- Bicycle Theft on the 500 block of W. Hathaway Lane on May 4 at 10:25 a.m.
- Theft on the 1000 block of N. Eagle Road on May 4 at 11:27 a.m. – 30 gallons of gasoline was stolen.
- Fraud on the 300 block of Francis Drive on May 4 at 5 p.m. – Victim reported that two unauthorized purchases were made with his debit card.
- Criminal Mischief at Darby and Mill Roads on May 4 at 2:27 p.m. – Obscenities were scratched into a vehicle door.
- Vandalism on the 1300 block of Delmont Road on May 4 at 9:35 p.m. – Victim reported damage to his walkway and lawn by an unknown vehicle.
- Theft on the 300 block of Olympic Avenue on May 5 at 3:59 p.m. – Power washer was stolen.
- Theft on the 100 block of David Drive on May 5 at 2:23 p.m. – Victim reported her credit card and driver’s license were stolen from her purse. Three unauthorized purchases were attempted with the credit card.
- Burglary on the 500 block of West Chester Pike on May 7 at 8:13 a.m – Forced entry was gained by smashing the glass in the front door. Approximately $130 was taken from a tip jar.
- Theft on the unit block of Braeburn Road on May 7 at 7:04 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown subject removed a plastic "watch children" figure from outside of his residence.
ARRESTS:
- A white male, 28, 200 block of Lee Circle, Bryn Mawr. Charges: Warrant. Location: Lee Road and Gaynor Road. Date: May 3 at 4:39 p.m.
- A white male, 31, 300 block of Holmes Avenue, Havertown. Charges: DUI, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia,unregistered vehicle, no insurance or inspection and careless driving. Location: 100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: May 4 at 10:03 a.m.
- A white male, 30, 1400 block of Ashton Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: May 4 at 10:06 a.m.
- A white female, 35, 100 block of W. Washington Avenue, Clifton Heights. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver. Location: 300 block of E. Township Line Road. Date: May 5 at 10:35 a.m.
- A white male, 34, 300 block of E. Township Line Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver. Location: 300 block of E. Township Line Road. Date: May 5 at 10:35 a.m.
- A white male, 30, 1000 block of Bon Air Road, Havertown. Charges: Warrant. Location: 1000 block of Bon Air Road. Date: May 5 at 12:18 p.m.
- A black female, 22, 1000 block of Tyler Avenue, Darby. Charges: DUI, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, no insurance or driver’s license and careless driving. Location: Darby Road and West Chester Pike. Date: May 5 at 5:28 a.m.
