Grants Available for Haverford Education, Arts, and Music Projects

Havertown, Pa.–The Haverford Township Education, Arts & Music Society (HTEAMS) is pleased to announce that it will be awarding grants to area organizations to enhance or cultivate activities in education, music, and/or the arts.

The grants will range from $500 to $1,000, and will be awarded to individuals and organizations pursuing projects that support HTEAMS’s mission of “strengthen[ing] the cultural identity of Haverford Township by promoting local endeavors that focus on using music and art as a bridge to promote education and to enhance the quality of life in our community.”

HTEAMS is a volunteer-run organization that presents the annual Haverford Music Festival, a free, family-friendly event. The 14th Haverford Music Festival will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, on two stages at the corner of Darby and Eagle roads in Havertown.

“Providing grants to help advance projects in our community is the natural extension of what HTEAMS exists to do,” said Jesse Hubley, HTEAMS President.

Grant applications are being accepted until September 1, 2026, and will be reviewed by the HTEAMS grant committee.

“The main thing we are going to be looking for is projects that are consistent with our core mission, and make Haverford Township a truly great place to be,” said Hubley.

HTEAMS has previously awarded one $1,000 grant, in 2023, to the Haverford Jazz Residency Campaign. The Campaign funds an artist-in-residence program for jazz students of the School District of Haverford Township and the artist in residence visits the district throughout the year, teaching and performing alongside students.
