Haverford Police Blotter: Fraud, Burglary, Thefts, Vandalism

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police issued their most recent crime report, which details incidents in the township that occurred between Nov. 8 and Nov. 14.

The report also includes citations issues and arrests made in that time frame.

Arrests:

Nov. 10, 6:39 p.m. – A black female, 18, of the 100 block of E. Glenolden Avenue was charged with retail theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike,

Nov. 10, 6:40 p.m. – A black male, 20, of the 6100 block of Race Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike.

Nov. 10, 10:05 a.m. – A black female, 40 of the 600 block of W. 27th Street, Wilmington, Delaware, was charged with retail theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Aug. 8.

Nov. 10, 3:52 p.m. – A white male, 21, of the 300 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, Haverford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver at: Haverford College, on the 300 block of W. Lancaster Avenue.

Nov. 10, 7:41 a.m. – A black female, 24, of the 600 block of Dayton Road, Bryn Mawr, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver on the 600 block of Dayton Road.

Nov. 10 7:41 a.m. – A black male, 21, of the 600 block of Dayton Road, Bryn Mawr, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver on the 600 block of Dayton Road.

Nov. 11, 1:45 a.m. – A black male, 36, of the 100 block of Wilson Avenue, Havertown, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and resisting arrest on the 100 block of Wilson Avenue.

Nov. 11, 9:32 a.m. – A black male, 21, of the 900 block of Darby Road, Havertown, was charged with criminal trespass and possession of marijuana on the 900 block of E. Darby Road.

Nov. 12, 10:57 p.m. – A white female, 31, of the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Aldan
was charged with DUI and careless driving on S. Eagle Road and West Chester Pike.

INCIDENTS:
Theft at the 700 block of N. Eagle Road on Nov. 8 at 8:47 a.m. – Vehicle registration was stolen.

Fraud at the 100 block of Cedarbrook Road on Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. – Victim reported that someone removed a check from his checkbook and fraudulently cashed it.

Criminal Mischief at the 100 block of N. Belfield Avenue on Nov. 8 at 6:20 a.m. – Vehicle window was shattered.

Criminal Mischief at the 100 block of Friendship Road on Nov. 8 at 4:40 p.m. – Side view mirror was damaged.

Vandalism at the 2300 block of E. Darby Road on Nov. 8 at 8:15 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person put super glue on the lock to his apartment.

Theft at the Able Group (2100 block of Bellemead Avenue) on Nov. 9 at 7:13 a.m. – Several vehicles were entered - $600 in tools was stolen.

Retail Theft at Kid to Kid (1200 block of W. Township Line Road) on Nov. 9 at 12:34 p.m. – A black female stole $130 worth of merchandise and fled the store.

Theft at Hanoi’s Pho (1500 block of West Chester Pike) on Nov. 9 at 12:28 p.m. – The owner reported an employee stole approximately $100 to $200 from the register.

Vandalism at the unit block of W. Eagle Road on Nov. 9 at 12:47 p.m. – Vehicle was entered and two tires were slashed.

Retail Theft at The Wine and Spirits Store (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on Nov. 10 at 6:36 p.m. – A white male stole $114 worth of merchandise and fled the store.

Burglary at the 500 block of Devon Road on Nov. 11 at 9:49 p.m. – Residence was ransacked. No signs of forced entry were observed.

Theft at the 800 block of Grove Place on Nov. 11 at 10:43 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – loose change and registration and insurance cards were stolen.

Disorderly Conduct at the 100 block of Mill Road on Nov. 11 at 8:41 a.m. – A 57-year-old white male of the 100 block of Mill Road was cited for disorderly conduct and careless driving.

Theft at the Haverford Dog Park (9000 block of Parkview Drive) on Nov. 12 at 12:24 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered – purse containing credit cards, sunglasses and prescription medication was stolen.

Theft at the Haverford Dog Park (9000 block of Parkview Drive) on Nov. 12 at 12:03 p.m. – Vehicle window was smashed – purse was stolen.

Theft at the Haverford Dog Park (9000 block of Parkview Drive) on Nov. 12 at 12:35 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – credit card holder containing various credit cards and driver’s license was stolen.

Theft at the Haverford Dog Park (9000 block of Parkview Drive) on Nov. 12 at 11:49 a.m. – Vehicle window was smashed – purse containing $30, gift cards and credit cards was stolen.

Public Drunkenness at the unit block of Hannum Drive on Nov. 12 at 12:06 a.m. – A 22-year-old white male of San Francisco, California and 22-year-old white male from Stratham, New Hampshire were cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Theft at the 100 block of Juniper Road on Nov. 13 at 11:51 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – loose change and a can of mace was stolen.

Criminal Mischief at the 1200 block of West Chester Pike on Nov. 13 at 7:36 p.m. – One of the glass panes on the bus stop was shattered.

Fraud at the 100 block of Flintlock Road on Nov. 14 at 6:52 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person made multiple unauthorized purchases with her debit card
