Haverford Police Blotter: Fraud At Wawas, Thefts, Forgery, More
Two men allegedly used fraudulent gift cards at two Haverford Township Wawas just 30 minutes apart, police said. See full details here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – The latest Haverford Township Police report was released this week and in it are a number of theft cases, frauds incidents, and more.
The report covers incidents that occurred between April 11 and April 16.
It also includes the arrests made and the number of citations issued in those days.

- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 11 at 10:13 a.m. – A white male was observed on video surveillance stealing $383.64 worth of merchandise.
- Motor Vehicle Theft on the 700 block of E. Manoa Road on April 11 at 4:16 p.m.
- Fraud on the 800 block of Wynnewood Road on April 11 at 10:16 a.m. – Victim reported that he made a purchase on E-Bay and did not receive the item.
- Public Drunkenness on the unit block of W. Benedict Avenue on April 11 at 4:43 p.m. – A white female, 43, of the 100 block of Allgates Drive was cited for public drunkenness.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on April 12 at 4:22 p.m. – A white female, 49, of the 600 block of Furlong Avenue was cited for the retail theft of $39.98 worth of merchandise.
- Forgery at the Haverford Hills Condominiums, 400 block of Glendale Road, on April 12 at 11:10 a.m. – Victim reported that a person known to her changed the title of her vehicle without her authorization or knowledge.
- Identity Theft on the unit block of E. Benedict Avenue on April 12 at 3:39 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a Verizon account using her identity and purchased an iPhone.
- Theft at Hilltop Little League Field, 1400 block of Steel Road, on April 13 at 6:26 a.m. – Two sponsor signs were stolen from the field.
- Theft on the 800 block of College Avenue on April 13 at 10:50 p.m. – A bag containing ski clothing was stolen from the bedroom.
- Fraud at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on April 13 at 2:17 p.m. – Two black males purchased $147.62 worth of cigarettes with fraudulent gift cards.
- Fraud at Wawa, unit block of E. Eagle Road, on April 13 at 2:45 p.m. – A black male made three separate purchases using a fraudulent credit card.
- Criminal Mischief on the unit block of West Chester Pike on April 13 at 10:07 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered.
- Fraud on the 300 block of Twin Oaks Drive on April 14 at 4:43 p.m. – Victim reported that she was the victim of an online secret shopper scam.
- Theft on the 1400 block of Dorchester Road on April 16 at noon – A package was stolen from the victim’s front porch.
- Fraud at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on April 16 12:46 p.m. – A black male attempted to purchase cigarettes with a fraudulent credit card.
- Vandalism on the 1300 block of Harrington Road on April 16 at 6:42 a.m. – Vehicle side view mirror was damaged.
- Public Drunkenness on the 300 block of Kathmere Road on April 16 at 12:24 p.m. – A white male, 50, 400 block of Strathmore Road was cited for public drunkenness.
ARRESTS:
A black male, 30, of the 800 block of Myrtle Avenue, Lindenwold, New Jersey. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: 200 block of Pine Ridge Road. Date: April 11 at 12:20 p.m.
