Haverford Police Blotter: Stolen Vehicles, Burglaries, Thefts
Police handled numerous theft cases, two stolen vehicles, two burglaries, and more in the last week. See the full blotter here.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police issued their weekly crime blotter on Wednesday. The blotter covers police-handled incidents between Aug. 8 and Aug. 14.
Most notably, police handled nine theft cases, two stolen vehicles, two burglaries, and two fraud cases among other crimes.
The blotter also includes arrests made in and citations issued by police.

INCIDENTS:

- Fraud in the 1500 block of Norman Road on Aug. 8 at 12:46 p.m. – numerous transactions were made using the victims online accounts, victim is unsure how the items were purchased.
- Fraud in the 5300 block of Parkview Drive on Aug. 8 at 2:05 p.m. – victim reported Microsoft fraud.
- Theft in the 700 block of Old Buck Lane on Aug. 9 at 6:33 p.m. – cash was taken out of the victim’s purse which was left on her dresser.
- Theft from Vehicle in the 1100 block of West Chester Pike on Aug. 10 at 9:45 a.m. – a phone was taken out of an unlocked truck.
- Theft in the 700 block of Old Buck Lane on Aug. 10 at 8:25 p.m. – check were stolen from the victim’s purse.
- Burglary at Rita’s Water Ice, 500 block of West Chester Pike, on Aug. 11 at 7:41 a.m. – three unknown males gained access to the store, store was ransacked. Investigation is ongoing.
- Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Aug. 11 at 1:11 p.m. – while shopping, victim’s wallet was stolen out of her purse.
- Theft from Vehicle in the unit block of Meadows Lane on Aug. 11 at 1:45 p.m. – headphones and loose change were stolen out of the victim’s unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked in his driveway.
- Theft from Vehicle in the 100 block of Stockton Road on Aug. 11 at 2:57 p.m. – loose change was stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked in her driveway.
- Burglary in the unit block of E. Marthart Avenue on Aug. 12 at 6:57 hours – jewelry was taken from the above location, investigation is ongoing.
- Motor Vehicle Theft in the 2200 block of Haverford Road on Aug. 12 at 7:36 a.m. – victim’s vehicle was stolen out of her driveway. Vehicle was later recovered.
- Criminal Mischief at Wawa, unit block of E. Eagle Road, on Aug. 12 at 8:34 a.m. – an unknown actor smeared peanut butter on the victim’s passenger side window.
- Theft from Vehicle in the unit block of W. Mercer Avenue on Aug. 13 at 6:28 p.m. – victim’s laptop was stolen out of her unlocked vehicle.
- Theft from Auto in the 2100 block of Belvedere Avenue on Aug. 13 at 7:19 a.m. – a pouch of quarters were taken out of the victim’s vehicle.
- Theft from Auto in the unit block of Harvard Road on Aug. 13 at 9:15 a.m. – loose changed was taken out of the victim’s work truck.
- Attempted Theft from Vehicle in the 600 block of Washington Avenue on Aug. 13 at 4:17 a.m. – numerous vehicles were rummaged thru on the above street. Nothing appeared to be taken.
- Attempted Theft from Vehicle in the unit block of Fairfield Road on Aug. 13 at 7:30 a.m. – Victim reports that an unknown actor attempted to gain access to her vehicle. The actor was deterred due to motion light in the driveway.
- Identity Theft in the 100 block of Lee Circle on Aug. 13 at 6:27 p.m. – an unknown actor purchased items using the victim’s account information.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at U-Haul, unit block of E. Township Line Road, on Aug. 14 at 1:29 p.m. – vehicle was rented and never returned.
- Retail Theft at The Camera Shop, 500 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on Aug. 14 at 10:03 a.m. – an unknown actor took a camera lens, investigation is ongoing.

- A white male, 22, unit block of Downs Circle, Wynnewood Charges: Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: July 9 at 5:30 p.m.
- A black female, 20, 700 block of S. 68th Street, Philadelphia Charges: Theft by Unlawful Taking Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: July 20 at 1:53 p.m.
- A white male, 28, unit block of E. Marthart Avenue, Havertown Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Location: 1100 block of West Chester Pike Date: Aug. 7 at 7:27 p.m.
- A white male, 33, 900 block of Grant Road, Folcroft Charges: Warrant Location: West Chester Pike and Lawrence Rd. Date: Aug. 8 at 11:31 a.m.
- A black female, 25, 5600 block of Ridgewood Street, Philadelphia Charges: Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Reckless Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment Location: 3300 block of Darby Rd. Date: Aug. 9 at 11:07 p.m.
- A white male, 26, 1700 block of Chesterfield Square, Bel Air, MD Charges: DUI Location: 200 block of Heatherwood Road Date: Aug. 10 at 10:09 p.m.
- A white male, 40, 1400 block of Lawrence Road, Havertown Charges: DUI Location: Darby and Eagle Roads Date: Aug. 11 at 3:20 a.m.
- A black male, 53, 5800 block of Cedarhurst Street, Philadelphia Charges: Criminal Conspiracy, Retail Theft, Possession / Use of Drug Paraphernalia Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Aug. 12 at 10:56 p.m.
- A black female, 46, 5900 block of Belmar Terrace, Philadelphia Charges: Criminal Conspiracy and Retail Theft Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Aug. 12 at 10:56 p.m.
- A white male, 60, 300 block of Springfield Road, Aldan Charges: DUI, Use / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Careless Driving Location: West Chester Pike and Robinson Date: Aug. 12 at 4:03 a.m.
