It was a busy time for Haverford Police between May 14 and May 22, as they handled nearly 20 cases and made more than a dozen arrests.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police released their weekly crime report on Wednesday, May 23.

The report highlights a busy time for police between May 14 and May 22, with nearly 20 cases handled and more than a dozen arrests made.

Also included are the number of citations issued in that time.

  • Retail Theft at Wawa, unit block of E. Eagle Road, on May 17 at 10:32 p.m. – A black male stole $240 worth of cigarettes and fled the store.
  • Bomb Threat at Vision Works, 100 block of W. Township Line Road on May 18 at 2:54 p.m.
  • Theft at the unit block of Tunbridge Road on May 19 at 4:58 p.m. – Scrap metal, three silver coins and a container of change was stolen from the garage and residence.
  • Identity Theft on the 600 block of Washington Avenue on May 19 at 12:26 p.m. – Victim reported that she was notified by her bank that someone was attempting to open loans and credit card accounts using her identity.
  • Theft on the 1300 block of Bon Air Terrace on May 20 at 7:15 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, registration card was stolen.
  • Criminal Mischief at East Darby Road and East Benedict Avenue on May 20 at 3:46 p.m. – Vehicle was keyed.
  • Criminal Mischief on the 2000 block of Darby Road on May 20 at 8:32 p.m. – Vehicle was keyed.
  • Vandalism on the 400 block of Mill Road on May 20 at 8:21 a.m. – An unknown person removed a fence post and struck the base of a street sign causing the post to break.
  • Vandalism on the unit block of West Benedict Avenue on May 20 at 10:01 a.m. – Large planter was smashed.
  • Disorderly Conduct on the 1800 block of Rose Tree Lane on May 20 at 11:58 p.m. – A black female, 29, of the 1500 block of Westmoreland Street, Philadelphia, a black female, 23, of the 4500 block of Walnut Avenue, Philadelphia and a black female, 28, of the 4500 block of Walnut Avenue, Philadelphia were cited for disorderly conduct.
  • Attempted Burglary at Eagle Court Apartments, 1200 block of West Chester Pike, on May 21 at 9:56 p.m. – A black male attempted to gain entry into an apartment. Police located the actor. A black male, 24, was arrested.
  • Identity Theft on the 200 block of N. Eagle Road on May 21 at 8:50 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person opened two credit card accounts using her identity and made multiple purchases.
  • Criminal Mischief on the 1200 block of Bon Air Avenue on May 21 at 12:54 p.m. – Vehicle was keyed.
  • Vandalism on the 500 block of Mill Road on May 21 at 9:15 a.m. – Vehicle was egged.
  • Vandalism at Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on May 21 at 11:45 a.m. – Vehicle was keyed. Bicycle Theft on the 700 block of Hathaway Lane on May 22 at 4:15 p.m.
  • Theft on the unit block of North Manoa Road on May 22 at 4 p.m. – Victim reported that he left his cell phone in an Uber. He contacted the Uber driver and they did not return the phone.
  • Theft at the Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on May 22 at 2:08 p.m. – Victim reported that $150 was stolen from her unattended purse.
  • Disorderly Conduct on the 100 block of East Township Line Road on May 22 at 3:51 p.m. – A white male, 44, of the 100 block of East Township Line Road was cited for disorderly conduct and township ordinance violation.

  • A black female, 26, 5300 block of Addison Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: May 18 at 6:42 a.m.
  • A black male, 51, 5500 block of Malcolm Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia and false identification to law enforcement. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: May 18 at 6:42 a.m.
  • A white female, 24, unit block of Upland Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: unit block of Upland Road. Date: May 19 at 7:38 a.m.
  • A black male, 45, 1800 block of Earlington Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 1800 block of Earlington Road. Date: May 19 at 9:20 p.m.
  • A black female, 37, 100 block of Long Lane, Upper Darby. Charges: Warrant. Location: unit block of Walnut Hill Lane. Date: May 20 at 9:44 a.m.
  • A white male, 39, 2300 block of Highland Avenue, Drexel Hill. Charges: DUI, suspended drivers license, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 1200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: May 20 at 3 a.m.

  • A black male, 18, 2200 block of Haverford Road, Ardmore. Charges: Warrant. Location: 100 block of E. Township Line Road. Date: May 21 at 1:03 p.m.
  • A white male, 62, 100 block of Five Points Road, West Chester. Charges: DUI, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Farwood and Huntington Roads. Date: May 22 at 3:33 a.m.
