Haverford Police Report: Burglaries, Thefts, Frauds, More
Police reported two thefts and one disorderly conduct incident at the Haverford Library on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6. See the full reports here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Police issued their weekly crime report on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
The report covers incidents handled between Jan. 31 and Feb. 6.
Incidents included three home burglaries, multiple thefts, three fraud cases, and more.

CITATIONS:

ARRESTS:
- A black female, 32, 200 block of St. Laurence Road, Upper Darby. Charges: Warrant. Location: 2000 block of Darby Road. Date: Feb. 1, 7:10 a.m.
- A black female, 35, 1600 block of Earlington Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: 1600 block of Earlington Road. Date: Feb. 2 at 12:07 a.m.
- A white male, 59, 100 block of East Golfview Road, Ardmore. Charges: DUI and public drunkenness. Location: Hathaway Lane and Sunnybrook Lane. Date: Feb. 3 at 10:31 p.m.
INCIDENTS:
- Theft at the Quadrangle (3300 block of Darby Road) on Jan. 31 at 10:06 a.m. – Victim reported that jewelry was stolen from her purse.
- Theft at the 400 block of Hill Road on Jan. 31 at 11:16 a.m. – Victim reported that multiple unauthorized purchases were made with his debit card. Approximately $1,000 was also reported missing from the residence.
- Vandalism on the 2000 block of Bellemeade Avenue on Jan. 21 at 9:04 p.m. – Six vehicles were egged.
Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 1 at 6:41 p.m. – A white female, 56, 1200 block of West Chester Pike, was cited for the retail theft of $116 worth of merchandise. - Fraud on the 800 block of Walnut Place on Feb. 1 at 1:06 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person made an unauthorized purchase using her credit card information.
- Fraud on the 400 block of Ellis Road on Feb. 1 at 7:46 p.m. – Victim reported numerous unauthorized purchases on her credit card over the past couple months.
- Theft on the unit block of Myrtle Avenue on Feb. 2 at 12:01 p.m. – Prescription medication was stolen.
Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 2 at 4:22 p.m. – A white male stole $85 worth of merchandise and fled the store. - Burglary on the 1000 block of Crest Road on Feb. 3 at 7:59 p.m. – Forced entry was gained through the basement door. Jewelry and a suitcase was stolen.
- Burglary on the 200 block of Mill Road on Feb. 3 at 9:11 p.m. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. Jewelry was stolen.
- Identity Theft on the 2900 block of Rising Sun Road on Feb. 3 at 11:22 a.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to open multiple credit card accounts using her identity.
- Vandalism at Park’s Best Car Wash, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on Feb. 4 at 8:42 a.m. – Vacuum cleaner was knocked off of its concrete base causing $500 worth of damage. An advertisement flag was also knocked over.
- Theft on the 3000 block of Parkview Drive on Feb. 5 at 7:55 a.m. – Power tools were stolen from a construction site.
- Theft on the Haverford Library, 1600 block of Darby Road, on Feb. 5 at 4:36 p.m. – A speaker for headphones was stolen from the victim’s backpack.
- Theft on the Haverford Library, 1600 block of Darby Road, on Feb. 5 at 4:36 p.m. – $30 was stolen from a backpack.
- Identity Theft on the 3600 block of Darby Road on Feb. 5 at 12:57 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person opened a Medicare account using his identity.
- Burglary on the 800 block of Beechwood Road on Feb. 6 at 11:52 a.m. – Forced entry was gained through a rear window. Jewelry was stolen.
- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Feb. 6 at 11:06 a.m. – A coat containing a debit card, gloves and keys was stolen from the coat rack.
- Fraud on the 2400 block of Chestnut Avenue on Feb. 6 at 3:33 p.m. – Victim reported two unauthorized charges made with her debit card.
- Disorderly Conduct at Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road, on Feb. 6 at 2:15 p.m. – A white male, 18, unit block of W. Wilmot Avenue was cited for disorderly conduct.
- Disorderly Conduct at the Haverford Library, 1600 block of Darby Road, on Feb. 6 at 2:50 p.m. – A white male, 12 and A black male, 13 were cited for disorderly conduct.
