Haverford Police Report: Thefts From Vehicles, Vandalism, Fraud
On Dec. 15, three vehicles parked at the YMCA had windows smashed and items stolen from inside them. See full details of the report here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police issued their most recent crime report, which details incidents in the township that occurred between Dec. 13 and Dec. 19.
Incidents include vehicle break ins at the YMCA, credit card fraud, a sunroom window broken by a snowball, graffiti found at a SEPTA bus shelter, and more.
The report also includes citations issued and arrests made around that time.

Arrests
- A white male, 38, of the 700 block of Hedgerow Drive, Broomall. Charges: DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and accidents involving damage to attended vehicle. Location: 2000 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Dec. 16 at 9:53 a.m.
- A black male, 23, of the 300 block of Hastings Boulevard, Broomall. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: 2000 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Dec. 16 at 9:53 a.m.
- A black male, 23, of the 900 block of Grant Road, Upper Darby. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Dec. 19 at 11:07 a.m.
Incidents
- Theft at the 700 block of Haverford Road on Dec. 13 at 11:11 a.m. – Snow plow pump was stolen.
- Fraud at the 100 block of Terra Alta Circle on Dec. 13 at 11:03 a.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person made multiple unauthorized charges with two of her credit cards.
- Theft at the 500 block of Sagamore Road on Dec. 14 at 7:34 a.m. – Victim reported that a package was stolen from the front of her residence.
- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Dec. 15 at 10:48 a.m. – Vehicle window was shattered and a purse was stolen.
- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Dec. 15 at 10:48 a.m. – Vehicle window was shattered and a purse was stolen.
- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Dec. 15 at 10:48 a.m. –Vehicle window was shattered and a purse was stolen.
- Attempted Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Dec. 15 at 10:48 a.m. – Victim reported damage to the front passenger door window. Entry was not gained.
- Vandalism at the unit block of W. Langhorne Avenue on Dec. 15 at 12:08 p.m. – Rear window was broken.
- Vandalism at the SEPTA Bus Shelter, Hathaway Lane and Merwood Avenue, on Dec. 16 at 8:58 p.m. – Graffiti was reported.
- Vandalism at the 1000 block of Weller Avenue on Dec. 17 at 4:02 p.m. – An unknown person threw a snowball through the victim’s sunroom window causing it to break.
- Public Drunkenness at the unit block of Claremont Boulevard on Dec. 17 at 3:26 a.m. – A white male, 21, of the unit block of James Drive, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
- Theft at Eagle Towers, 2300 block of Darby Road, on Dec. 18 at 10:14 a.m. – Shopvac was stolen.
- Fraud at the 200 block of Fairlamb Avenue on Dec. 18 at 6:38 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person made two unauthorized withdraws from his checking account.
- Identity Theft at the 500 block of Haverford Road on Dec. 18 at 8:19 a.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a credit card account using his identity. Multiple unauthorized purchases were also made with his Lowe’s credit card.
- Criminal Mischief at the 800 block of Aubrey Avenue on Dec. 18 at 4:08 p.m. – Vehicle tire was punctured.
- Vandalism at the Ivy Inn, unit block of Brookline Boulevard, on Dec. 18 at 6:20 p.m. – An unknown white male stuck the front door causing damage.
