Haverford Police Report: Vehicle Vandalism, Identity Theft, More

A resident reported a Comcast account was opened in their name and had $2,500 charged to the fraudulent account. See more details here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police issued their most recent crime report, which details incidents in the township that occurred between Dec. 6 and Dec. 12.

The report also includes citations issued and arrests made around that time.

ARRESTS:

A white male, 37, 1400 block of Leedom Road, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment. Location: 1400 block of Leedom Road. Date: Dec. 6 at 4:35 a.m.

A black male, 20, 200 block of Ashby Road, Upper Darby. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, unregistered vehicle and no insurance. Location: Darby Road and West Chester Pike. Date: Dec. 8 at 12:33 a.m.

A white male, 29, 1400 block of Ashton Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 1400 block of Ashton Road. Date: Dec. 11 at 12:23 a.m.

A white male, 31, 2300 block of Darby Road, Havertown. Charges: Warrant. Location: 500 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Dec. 11 at 9:40 a.m.

INCIDENTS:

Theft at the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue on Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. – Christmas decorations were stolen.

Theft at the 400 block of Shelbourne Road on Dec. 6 at 9:34 a.m. – License plate was stolen.

Theft at the 700 block of Millbrook Road on Dec. 6 at 5:56 p.m. – The victim observed a black male inside of her vehicle. He fled when she confronted him. Loose change was stolen.

Criminal Mischief at the 100 block of Foster Avenue on Dec. 6 at 9:26 a.m. – Vehicle rear windshield was shattered.

Public Drunkenness at the 100 block of Signal Road on Dec. 6 at 10:13 a.m. – A white male 52, 300 block of Pilgrim Lane, Drexel Hill was cited for public drunkenness and criminal trespass.

Retail Theft at Merion Gold Club Pro Shop, 400 block of Ardmore Avenue, on Dec. 7 at 1:06 p.m. – Two white males stole over $600 in apparel.

Burglary at the 400 block of E. Manoa Road on Dec. 8 at 10:07 p.m. – Forced entry was gained through a rear window. Jewelry was stolen.

Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Dec. 8 at 4:41 p.m. – Two black males stole and undetermined amount of merchandise and fled the store.

Fraud at the 1700 block of Melrose Avenue on Dec. 8 at 5:02 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person removed over $600 from his Paypal account to make a purchase without his permission or knowledge.

Criminal Mischief at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Dec. 8 at 3:38 p.m. – Vehicle tire was slashed.

Liquor Law Violation at the Skatium, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Dec. 8 At 9:02 p.m.– A white male, 17, was cited for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, public drunkenness and underage drinking.

Vandalism at the 1400 block of Leedom Road on Dec. 10 at 3:44 p.m. – Residence was egged.

Vandalism at the 100 block of S. Manoa Road on Dec. 10 at 7:23 p.m. – Christmas decorations were damaged.

Theft at the 100 block of Columbus Avenue on Dec. 11 at 8:18 a.m. – Green spotlight was stolen.

Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Princeton Road on Dec. 11 at 2:47 p.m. – Victim observed three unidentified juvenile males kicking her Christmas decorations.

Identity Theft at the 300 block of Windsor Park Lane on Dec. 12 at 9:24 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person opened a Comcast account using his identity and charged $2,500 to the account.

Public Drunkenness at Ardmore Avenue and Morris Road on Dec. 12 at 12:52 a.m. – A white male, 38, of the 200 block of Iona Avenue, Narberth was cited for public drunkenness.
