Haverford Soccer Club Wraps Up Fine Season
The boys won two of the three tournaments they competed in.
The Spartans, Haverford SC U-17 Boys premier soccer team, finished a very successful summer tournament schedule.
They finished as finalists in the Ukrainian Nationals Tournament, champions of the Lehigh Valley Soccer Tournament, and won the Mid Atlantic Cup Tournament in Manheim, PA over the July 9-10 weekend. In doing so, they have moved up to #26 in the Pennsylvania East State Rankings.
The team is composed of players from Haverford and the surrounding areas (LM, Radnor, Springfield, Conestoga, Marple) and they have proved themselves by playing with character and poise throughout the entire season.
