Havertown GIANT announces nutritionist class schedule for May

Courtney Schoepe, MA, RD, LDN, in-store nutritionist at the Havertown GIANT Food Store announces the May schedule of free classes. Classes meet within the Havertown GIANT at 116 Township Line Road unless otherwise noted. All of these classes are free, but registration may be required by calling 610-449-1161.

The May schedule of classes includes:

Weight loss support group, Tuesday, May 2 at 6 p.m.

Meets in Nutritionist Office, Free; Adults; Registration required

Excellent eggs, Saturday, May 6, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Free; All ages; Registration required

Mother’s Day is next week! Are you making your mom breakfast in bed? Get her day started right with the incredible, edible egg! Eggs are great for breakfast or any time of the day. Come learn about the nutrition benefits of eggs and how to include them in mom’s brunch or breakfast.

Jumpstart to a better body, Tuesday, May 23, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Free; All ages; Registration required

Summer is around the corner – are you ready for your bathing suit? Come to this class to refresh your eating habits, enhance your metabolism, and jumpstart your better body. Feeling good leads to looking good, and that starts with what we put into our bodies.

In addition, if you need help losing weight or managing a health condition or food allergy, you can also schedule an individual consultation with Courtney. Individual consultations are $20 and participants receive back a $20 GIANT gift card upon completion.
