Havertown Man Headed To Prison For Role In Nationwide Identity Theft Ring
Lovell A. Davis III, 36, of Havertown was sentenced Monday for his role in a nationwide identity theft ring.

A Delaware County man has been sentenced to three to six years in state prison after pleading guilty for taking part in an identity theft ring that operated throughout the country, according to Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane.
Lovell A. Davis III, 36, of Havertown was sentenced Monday.
According to investigators, Davis was the leader of a group that manufactured hundreds of counterfeit credit cards and corresponding counterfeit identifications. He then sent co-conspirators into various financial institutions. The bogus credit cards were used for cash advances, Kane's office said.
