Man Shot To Death In Upper Darby Friday Morning: Police

Upper Darby Police said a man died after being shot at 14 times early Friday morning on Ludlow Street in the township.

UPPER DARBY, PA – A man died after being shot numerous times early Friday morning in Upper Darby Township and police are on the hunt for the killer.

According to police, the shooting happened at about 2 a.m. near a Wells Fargo ATM on Ludlow Street.

The victim, identified as Eric Dawson, was getting into a vehicle parked on Ludlow Street early Friday when the shooter walks across the street and fired 14 rounds at the man.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports police believe the killing was targeted.

Dawson is reported to have $3,200 on him when he was shot but the money was not stolen, according to CBS Philadelphia.
