Change Stolen From 2 Delaware County Churches Thursday: Police

The burglars stole money from the poor boxes, according to Upper Darby Police. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.

UPPER DARBY, PA – Two churches in Delaware County had money stolen from them in recently burglaries, according to police.

Upper Darby Police said two churches were burglarized Thursday night.

The churches targeted were St. Laurence on West Chester Pike and Calvary Presbyterian Church on Wayne Avenue, police said.

The suspects stole change from the poor boxes, according to police.

Police are urging residents to keep an eye on their churches and to call 911 if they see anything suspicious.
