Pro Shot Basketball Clinic Coming To Manoa School On Thursday
The well renowned basketball clinic will be teaching Haverford's youth on July 28.

Paul Hoover, a leading shooting coach, is taking his Pro Shot Basketball Clinic to on Thursday to polish the shooting skills of Haverford Township’s ball players. Pro Shot is a traveling road show teaching youth from all of the country how to master the techniques of successfully shooting a basketball. Haverford Township Recreation is hosting the free event, which is open to both players and coaches. Players age 8-12 can participate from 9:30-11:30 and players 12 and over from 12:30-2.
“Paul Hoover is recognized around the country as one of the best shooting coaches ever,” said Tim Denny, director of Parks and Recreation in a news release. “His philosophy is that many coaches are still teaching a technique from the 50’s.He has revolutionized shooting and instructed some of the best pro and college shooters in the game today. We saw an opportunity to have Paul come to Haverford Township and we jumped at the chance.”
Registration for the shooting clinic is limited to 80 players/coaches for each time slot. Registration is FREE. To register, contact the Recreation Department at 610-446-9397 or Recinfo@Haverfordtownship.org with your name, age and time slot.
