Rx Pads Stolen, Vehicle Theft, Burglaries: Haverford PD Report

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Police released their latest crime blotter recently.
The blotter covers incidents that occurred in the township between May 30 and June 5.
Incidents include stolen prescription pads, seven fraud cases, three burglaries, and more.

INCIDENTS
- Bicycle Theft on the 2300 block of Oakmont Avenue on May 30 at 11:16 a.m.
- Theft at Center for Interventional Pain and Spine, 900 block of Haverford Road, on May 30 at 8:07 a.m. – A lock box containing $400 and six signed prescription pads was stolen.
- Fraud on the 2400 block of Chestnut Avenue on May 30 at 4:19 p.m. – Victim reported that three unauthorized withdrawals were made with her debit card.
- Burglary on the 2100 block of Haverford Road on May 31 at 5:47 p.m. – Forced entry was made through the rear door. Nothing was reported missing at this time.
- Theft on the 300 block of Glen Gary Drive on May 31 at 9:25 p.m. – Victim reported that a large withdraw was made from his savings account without his permission or knowledge.
- Forgery at Innovative Medical Associates, 900 block of Haverford Road, on May 31 at 4:27 p.m. – The owner reported that a person known to her fraudulently filled six prescriptions.
- Fraud on the 200 block of Campbell Avenue on May 31 at 1:21 p.m. – Victim reported four unauthorized transactions made with his debit card.
- Burglary on the 600 block of Georges Lane on June 1 at 6:39 p.m. – Entry was gained through a window. A large change jar was stolen.
- Criminal Mischief on the 1600 block of Surrey Lane on June 1 at 9:45 a.m. – Vehicle rear window was shattered.
- Theft on the 1000 block of Larchmont Avenue on June 2 at 12:16 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – two watches were stolen.
- Theft on the 1000 block of Edgewood Road on June 3 at 4:17 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – loose change was stolen.
- Fraud on the 1600 block of Ridgeway Road on June 4 at 7:47 a.m. – Victim reported that two credit cards were stolen at an unknown time. Multiple unauthorized purchases were made with the credit cards.
- Fraud on the 100 block of Lee Circle on June 4 at 6:37 p.m. – Victim reported multiple unauthorized purchases made with her debit card.
- Criminal Mischief on the 1200 block of Dill Road on June 4 at 10:57 a.m. – Vehicle was keyed.
- Vandalism at Haverford Hills Condominium, 400 block of Glendale Road, on June 4 at 10:36 a.m. - Victim reported that someone vandalized the wall next to the mailbox.
- Burglary on the 2100 block of Bryn Mawr Place on June 5 at 11:23 p.m. – Victim reported that their car was stolen from Philadelphia earlier that day. The keys to the residence were in the vehicle. It appears entry was gained using the house key. Jewelry, iPad, and $400 was stolen.
- Fraud on the 1400 block of Norman Road on June 5 at 12:26 p.m. – An unknown person made three separate withdraws from the victim’s checking account without her permission or knowledge.
- Fraud at Builders Incorporated, unit block of Raymond Drive, on June 5 at 1:02 p.m. – Four fraudulent checks were issued by an unknown actor.
- Fraud on the 500 block of Greenview Lane on June 5 at 2:45 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person made an unauthorized purchase with his credit card.
- Identity Theft on the unit block of College Avenue on June 5 at 3:45 p.m. – A Verizon account was opened using the victim’s identity.
ARRESTS:
- A white male, 25, unit block of Pugh Road, Wayne. Charges: DUI. Location: 700 block of Buck Lane Date: June 1 at 11:50 p.m.
- A white female, 22, unit block of Brand Avenue, Clementon, NJ. Charges: Retail theft, false identification to law enforcement, public drunkenness, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: June 4 at 10:12 a.m.
- A white male, 35, 200 block of Glendale Road, Havertown. Charged: Warrant. Location: 100 block of Turnbull Avenue. Date: June 5 at 11:32 a.m.
- A white male, 14, was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Simple assault. Location: 300 block of E. Eagle Road. Date: June 1 at 9:49 p.m.
