HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police issued their latest crime report on Wednesday, May 2.

The new report covers incidents that occurred in the township between April 25 and May 1.

Notable incidents include money stolen from the Trinity Lutheran church, bank account fraud, bike thefts, and more.

  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on April 25 at 2:12 p.m. – A white male stole $117.97 and fled the store.
  • Bicycle Theft at Orsini Collision, 2500 block of Haverford Road, on April 26 at 4:52 p.m.
  • Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 27 at 4:19 p.m. – A black male selected a tool combo kit valued at $379 from the display. The subject went directly to customer service and completed a return for store credit.
  • Vandalism at Coopertown School, 800 block of Coopertown Road, on April 27 at 11:54 a.m. – Vehicle window was cracked.
  • Bicycle Theft on the 1600 block of Ridgeway Road on April 28 at 5:01 p.m.
  • Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on April 28 at 12:43 p.m. – Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was shopping.
  • Public Drunkenness on the 200 block of East Township Line Road on April 28 at 9:39 p.m. – White male, 47, 5900 block of Tropical Drive, Fort Myers, Florida was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on April 29 at 1630 hours – Black male, 18, 1200 block of Tribbett Avenue, Sharon Hill and a black male, 19, 1400 block of Clifton Avenue, Sharon Hill were cited with disorderly conduct.
  • Theft on the 1300 block of Warren Avenue on May 1 at 3:15 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; iPad was stolen.
  • Theft on the 1300 block of Darby Road on May 1 at 12:25 p.m. – Victim reported that a package containing an iPhone was stolen from his mailbox.
  • Theft at Trinity Lutheran, 1100 block of West Chester Pike, on May 1 at 9:47 a.m. – Victim reported approximately $50 worth of quarters was stolen from an office and the office door and a gate were damaged.
  • Fraud on the unit block of Hastings Avenue on May 1 at 10:15 a.m. – Victim reported that a person known to him accessed his bank account and attempted to transfer a large amount of money to their account.
  • Criminal Mischief on the unit block of Derwen Drive on May 1 at 6:49 p.m. – Victim reported that a student threw an item at her vehicle from a school bus causing damage to her vehicle.

  • Black male, 77, 4400 block of Oriana Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Acme (1300 block of West Chester Pike). Date: April 26 at 12:18 p.m.
  • Black female, 37, 200 block of Sheas Terrace, Ardmore. Charges: Warrant and traffic violations. Location: Chestnut Avenue and Humphreys Street. Date: April 26 at 1:39 hop.m.urs
  • Black female, 25, 100 block of Walnut Street, Morton. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: Township Line Road and West Chester Pike. Date: April 27 at 1:34 a.m.
  • White male, 34, 600 block of Haverford Road, Haverford. Charges: Simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person. Location: 600 block of Haverford Road. Date: April 29 at 11:25 a.m.
  • White male, 21, 100 block of Clearfield Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 100 block of Clearfield Road. Date: April 29 at 6:49 p.m.
  • Black female, 26, 7500 block of Sherwood Road, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, false identification to law enforcement, suspended drivers license, no insurance and suspended registration. Location: 1700 block of West Chester Pike. Date: May 1 at 8:48 a.m.
