HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police issued their weekly crime report Wednesday, Feb. 14.

The report covers incidents between Feb. 7 and Feb. 13.

Notable incidents include a stolen vehicle, fraud, thefts, and public drunkenness.

ARRESTS:

  • A white male, 48, of the unit block of Vernon Road, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault and terroristic threats. Location: Unit block of Vernon Road. Date: Feb. 7 at 8:52 p.m.
  • A black male, 56, of the 100 block of W. Georges Lane, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI and speeding. Location: 900 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Feb. 7 at 7:48 p.m.
  • A white male, 24, of the unit block of S. Malin Road, Broomall. Charges: DUI, attempting to flee from police, reckless driving and disorderly conduct. Location: Barnaby’s (1900 block of Old West Chester Pike). Date: Feb. 10 at 10:49 p.m.
  • A white male, 27, of the 200 block of Lee Circle, Bryn Mawr. Charges: Warrant. Location: Haverford Road and College Avenue. Date: Feb. 11 at 4:28 p.m.
  • A white female, 42, of the 2400 block of Avon Road, Ardmore. Charges: DUI and Suspended driver’s license. Location: E. Darby Road and E. Eagle Road. Date: Feb. 11 at 9:24 p.m.

INCIDENTS:

  • Retail Theft at Giant,100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Feb. 7 at 5:08 a.m. – A black male and white female stole a shopping cart full of groceries and fled the store.
  • Identity Theft on the 200 block of N. Drexel Avenue on Feb. 7 at 6:45 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a Verizon account using her identity.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft on the 2000 block of Haverford Road on Feb. 8 at 9:29 p.m.
  • Public Drunkenness on the 700 block of Haverford Road on Feb. 8 at 5:08 p.m. – A white female, 21, of the unit block of Rustic Drive, Pennington, New Jersey, was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Bicycle Theft on the 500 block of Lawrence Road on Feb. 9 at 2:04 p.m.
  • Liquor Law Violation on the 100 block of Ellis Road on Feb. 9 at 12:07 a.m. – A white male, 18, 500 block of Brookline Boulevard was cited for underage drinking.
  • Theft at Saint Georges Church, unit block of West Ardmore Avenue, on Feb. 10 at 4:46 p.m. – Four tons of rock salt was stolen.
  • Burglary on the unit block of E. Park Road on Feb. 11 at 8:34 p.m. – Victim reported that forced entry was made through a rear door by a person known to her. Nothing was reported missing.
  • Theft on the 100 block of Hastings Avenue on Feb. 12 at 8:54 p.m. – Various power tools were stolen from a work truck.
  • Bicycle Theft on the 300 block of Twin Oaks Drive on Feb. 12 at 5:29 p.m.
  • Fraud on the 1000 block of Garfield Avenue on Feb. 12 at 5:38 p.m. – Victim reported that someone made an unauthorized purchase with his credit card.
  • Public Drunkenness on the 1600 block of Darby Road on Feb. 12 at 1:04 a.m. – A white male, 19, of the 100 block of Mill Road was cited for public drunkenness, underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
  • Fraud on the 1700 block of Josie Lane on Feb. 13 at 9:50 a.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person changed the address connected to his credit card account and removed 79,000 reward points from the account.
