School District Fitness Center Now Open to Public

The Saucon Valley School District Fitness Center opened to the public on Monday, Oct. 10. It is open to members of the public during designated times throughout the school year.

Are you eager to get in shape before the holiday party season starts?

If you're a resident who's thinking about working out, you might want to try using , which is located above the high school basketball courts.

For the time being, the center is open to the public--free of charge--on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 6 to 8pm.

The center has fitness machines--including bench and leg presses, bicep machines and pectoral machines--as well as free weights, aerobic mats and a chin bar, and is staffed by volunteers.

Users must complete a waiver before visiting the facility, and sign in whenever they visit. Proper footwear and athletic attire are also required.
