2. 2026 Road Paving Project Starting In Hatboro (patch.com) — Drivers in Hatboro should prepare for the borough's 2026 Road Paving Project, which will affect Broad Street, Abbotts Lane, Wood Street, and parts of Horsham Road through Oct. 27. Officials say roads will remain accessible to residents and essential services, but motorists are urged to use alternate routes and respect work crews and signage during construction.
3. Man Charged For Cutting Off Victim's Clothes With Knife In Hatboro (patch.com) — Hatboro residents are learning more about a disturbing incident at the York Road McDonald's, where police say a 20-year-old man used a knife to cut off a victim's clothing in a vehicle. Hatboro Police identified the suspect from surveillance video and arrested him after a brief attempt to evade officers, charging him with simple assault, possessing an instrument of crime, and harassment.
4. Montgomery County food safety inspections found live rodents in basement trap (readingeagle.com) — Recent Montgomery County health inspections found ongoing temperature, sanitation, and pest-related violations at Pasta Fazool and Ming's Chinese Restaurant on South York Road in Hatboro, prompting required follow-up visits and possible legal action if problems persist. 5. Cheltenham man, formerly one of Montco's Most Wanted, sentenced for sending illicit images to Hatboro teen (glensidelocal.com) — A Cheltenham man has been sentenced to up to 23 months in prison after Hatboro police investigated reports that he sent explicit images to a 16-year-old Hatboro girl and solicited photos in return. The case began with a Hatboro-Horsham High School resource officer's report and involved conduct on East County Line Road, and the defendant must now register as a sex offender for 15 years.
