Hatboro Man Tried To Purchase Gun Illegally: PD (patch.com) — Hatboro residents are being informed that local police charged a 48-year-old borough man after he allegedly provided false information while attempting to buy a firearm. Authorities say the man turned himself in and now faces firearms transfer and falsification charges, with a preliminary hearing set for Oct. 15 in connection with the June 26 incident reported to Hatboro Police by state police.
   

2. 2026 Road Paving Project Starting In Hatboro (patch.com) — Drivers in Hatboro should prepare for the borough's 2026 Road Paving Project, which will affect Broad Street, Abbotts Lane, Wood Street, and parts of Horsham Road through Oct. 27. Hatboro Police identified the suspect from surveillance video and arrested him after a brief attempt to evade officers, charging him with simple assault, possessing an instrument of crime, and harassment.
