TANNER PARK PLAYGROUND IS VERY MUCH ALIVE AND WELL!

TANNER PARK PLAYGROUND IS VERY MUCH ALIVE AND WELL!

Tanner Park Playground is finally becoming a REALITY. ELM Street Hatboro and the Hatboro Horsham Kiwanis have been planning Tanner Park for over six years and we are almost there. The handicap accessible playground equipment for 2-5 year olds and 5-12 years olds has been installed. Over 50 landscaping trees and shrubs have been planted. This spring, more than 300 perennials and grasses that have been designed into the park will begin blooming. The Memorial Walkway lights are expected by early February. The warmer weather will allow us to install the walking trail, and the relocated Tot ball field.

Because we are not ready to officially open the playground for use, we have installed temporary fencing around the playground equipment. We are sorry for this necessary inconvenience. We have waited over six years to get to this important stage of construction. Please be patient with us until we can finish all the details, and provide you with a completed playground sometime in the spring.
