Hatboro Man Arrested For Child Porn As Disturbing Trend Continues

It's not the first incident recently.

HATBORO, PA - The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office announced the arrest of a Hatboro man Tuesday for possessing and distributing child pornography.

Kenneth R. Lewis, 44, of 57 Rorer Avenue, was one of two men arrested in Pennsylvania Tuesday as part of the state’s ongoing crackdown on the sexual exploitation of children, the attorney general’s office said.

Lewis was arrested after an undercover investigation identified him as a likely suspect online.

A search warrant at his residence revealed multiple images indicative of child pornography. In total, 52 counts of possession and one count of distribution have been brought against him.

Lewis’ arrest follows an unfortunate pattern for child pornography in the Hatboro-Horsham area.

Arrests related to individuals with massive stashes of child pornography were made in Hatboro and Horsham in May, August, and October.

Lewis is confined to the Montgomery County Prison after failing to post $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 21.
