Horsham PD Rolls Out Bike Patrol Unit
Horsham's new bike unit will give officers greater access and patrol range. They will be fundraising for the unit during Horsham Day.

The Horsham Township Police Department will be combatting crime and keeping the township safe from crime in a new way: by bike.
The bikes and accessories for the bikes are being provided through grants and donations from community members, local businesses, and the Horsham Neighbors Association.
“This unit will allow our officers much easier access to remote areas of the Township such as the Power Line Trail,” Horsham police said in a Facebook message.

On Horsham Day, during the fireworks display, Horsham PD will be selling glow necklaces to help raises funds for items needed to outfit the bikes and equip the bike officers.
Police said their goal was to sell 600 necklaces, and encouraged community members to come out to the fireworks on Saturday night.
