HORSHAM, PA — Students at Simmons Elementary School in Horsham kept alive a 12-year-old tradition recently, serving up Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings to families in need.
The entire student body at Simmons took part in the project, along with members of their families. Throughout November, students brought in items to donate for the dinner, which included turkey, vegetables, pies and more.
They gathered on Tuesday to assemble the meals for distribution.
