Horsham Swears In Newest Police Officers

Shawn Mullen and Kimberly Ngo were sworn in on July 8 at the township council meeting.

Horsham Township has sworn in its newest police officers, according to the Horsham Chiefs Advisory Team.

Shawn Mullen and Kimberly Ngo were sworn in on July 8 at the township council meeting.

The ceremony follows the retirement of two of Horsham’s longest serving officers. Detective Dave Bussenger and Officer Steve Ryan have more than 70 years of service in Horsham Township combined.

The process of selecting replacements for the veterans was described as long and intense.

Mullen was a member of the Air National Guard and was formerly an officer in Bensalem Township for four years.

Ngo received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Temple University and went to the Philadelphia Police Academy.
