Lacrosse: Girls Take Down Souderton

The Lady Hatters are readying for their last home game of the regular season.

The Hatboro-Horsham girls lacrosse team stomped Souderton Friday afternoon to continue their quest for the SOL Championship. After winning their conference battles this week, the Lady Hatters are even closer to securing their first SOL title in five years. Wednesday night’s pink victory was the biggest win in years. And now, the girls need to stay focused and win out their last three conference games next week to lock up the championship.

Friday's match up with the Souderton Indians was dominated by the Hatters' senior attack led by . was also on her mark again hitting the net four times while contributed a hat trick. had two goals while , Katie McKay and Jane Henry also had a goal. Jane Henry, who is a defender, also had a great outing with three key groundballs early in the game and several key passes in the midfield to set up the Hatters' attack. Jackie Giovannozza continues to provide tremendous support in the net stopping eight balls for the Lady Hatters.  

The Lady Hatters play their last regular home game of the season on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hatters Stadium against conference opponent Central Bucks West They close out the week on the road at Central Bucks East Wednesday and at Pennridge on Thursday.
