Trump-Harris 2nd Cookie Tally By Hatboro Bakery: Who Won?

HATBORO, PA —Just days before the presidential debate, Lochel's Bakery released its second tally of political cookie sales between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

"Tally Tuesday is here," the bakery said in a Facebook post. "I know this triggers a lot of emotions and people get bent.... keep calm and eat a cookie! The cookie poll is not scientific. Just delicious."

The bakery reported that its cookie tally showed Trump leading in cookie sales with 2,673 to 291 cookies for Harris.

Lochel's Bakery, which has sold its popular political cookies since 2012, recently rolled out "blue" cookies for Harris now that she is on top of the Democratic ticket.

The cookies will also be permanently offered as the presidential campaign heads toward the November general election from Sept. 5 through Nov. 5.

Lochel's Bakery said that 30 to 35 percent of the Trump cookies have been shipped reflecting the count.
