$30K Backhoe Stolen In Lansdale

Security footage captured the backhoe fleeing the area.

LANSDALE, PA — Police are asking for the public's help after a $30,000 backhoe was stolen in Lansdale this week.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, July 22.

The backhoe had been parked behind the North Penn Little League fields, near 998 Moyers Road. Security footage from around 2 p.m. Sunday showed the backhoe traveling across the fields onto Moyers Road toward Schwab.

The word "Louie" is written in white paint on the door of the backhoe, which is a year 2000 model, Case 580SL. The VIN is JJGO277211.
