4 Lansdale Tobacco Stores Receive Citations From Police
Police were at local businesses recently to ensure they were obeying the law.
LANSDALE, PA — Police in Lansdale conducted "tobacco compliance" checks. last week to ensure businesses were following the law, and four separate locations around town received citations.
The checks occurred on Aug. 29 and turned up violations of the PA Crimes Code. Specifically, the stores were selling tobacco to minors.

- Liberty Vapor, 306 N. Madison Street
- Lansdale Smoke Shop, 107 A Walnut Street
- Quick Way Food Mart, 209 S. Broad Street
- Choice Mini Mart Smoke Shop, 216 N. Broad Street
"All Borough retailers who are assigned a tobacco license through the state of Pennsylvania are subject to compliance checks throughout the year and repeated violations can result in loss of the tobacco license," police said in a statement.
